Job Summary:
MGA Entertainment is seeking a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager, Media Planning & Buying, to focus on a select subset of our award-winning portfolio of brands. This role will oversee the planning, buying, and execution of media campaigns tailored to these key brands, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and maximizing impact across various channels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating innovative media strategies and delivering measurable results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Media Strategy & Planning:
Develop and execute customized media plans for a targeted subset of MGA brands.
Utilize audience insights, market trends, and competitive analysis to inform strategies and diverse media mixes per brand that reach their core audiences.
Partner with Brand Teams to ensure media plans are aligned with specific brand goals and overall marketing initiatives.
• Media Buying & Execution:
Lead media negotiations and purchases across digital (CTV, YouTube, email, audio, programmatic, gaming, etc.), social, TV, OOH, and other relevant channels for the assigned brands.
Build relationships with boutique agencies and media vendors to secure the best placements and added-value opportunities.
Optimize media budgets to ensure efficient allocation and maximum return on investment.
• Campaign Management & Optimization:
Oversee the execution of media campaigns, ensuring seamless delivery and performance monitoring.
Use analytics tools and work with in-house Data Analyst to track campaign performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.
Deliver comprehensive post-campaign analysis to key stakeholders with recommendations for future strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with Creative, PR, and Brand Teams to ensure media placements are effectively integrated into broader marketing efforts.
Collaborate with the Social Media leads to amplify campaign reach and engagement.
Support Sales Teams by aligning media strategies with retail activations and product launches.
• Focus on Innovation & Emerging Media:
Stay up to date on emerging media platforms and trends, exploring opportunities to test and integrate new channels for the assigned brands.
Champion creative and non-traditional media solutions to stand out in a competitive landscape.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
• 6-8 years of experience in media planning and buying, with a focus on integrated campaigns.
• Strong expertise in digital media channels, as well as experience in traditional media like TV and OOH.
• Demonstrated success in managing budgets and optimizing media performance.
• Skilled in media analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Nielsen, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple campaigns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Salary:
$120,00.00 -140,000.00 /year
