Job Overview

As a Senior Manager you will design and execute research with a focus on product concept research, entertainment content research, and positioning studies.

Essential Duties

  • Meet with key stakeholders to understand challenges and questions to design studies that best meet the objectives
  • Determine best methodologies, develop questionnaires and assets, analyze data, and write reports that tell the story and provide actionable insights for internal stakeholders
  • Develop consumer insights and market knowledge to support the overall company mission and vision
  • Manage and supervise a broad range of research activities, with a focus on quantitative research
  • Uncover and report insights to the product, marketing, and entertainment teams
  • Continuously build off developing knowledge to improve methodologies and refine research and approach
  • Work with outside vendors on various stages of research as needed
  • Study marketplace and entertainment environment, identifying trends in these spaces
  • Design and conduct research on entertainment from initial concept ideation through development with kids and adults
  • Design and conduct research on toy concepts and product marketing with kids and adults
  • Analyze and report insights to internal teams to help improve products and offerings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in business or psychology a plus
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in consumer research
  • Experience in entertainment research, toy category, and/or at full-service market research firm preferred
  • Knowledge of kids programming, gaming and entertainment preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of collaboration
  • Exemplary communication skills, written and oral, and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with colleagues, senior management, and team members with ability to obtain consensus
  • Ability to adjust to the changing needs of a dynamic environment and react swiftly to shifting priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects at the same time
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
  • Experience in survey programming a plus
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision

Salary

$120,000.00 – $140,000.00 /year
