Mission: To ensure cash application integrity between the customer’s remittances and MGA’s ERP system. To research and resolve customer claims. As a result will provide timely, reliable and accurate reporting as well as keep customer accounts current and accurate.

Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
1-2 years experience with Accounts Receivable and cash application preferred.
1-2 years experience with Accounts Receivable customer claims in manufacturing/distribution business.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
Proficient in 10-key, the internet, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Knowledge of customer websites for payables and claim processing.
Authority:
Reports to A/R Manager
Key Result Areas and Activities
- Specialist in retail A/R customer accounts
- Process cash receipt batches – payments and deductions for assigned customers
- Research customer claims and resolve
- Work with sales and warehouse departments to ensure quick resolution of claims
- Prepare adjustments for customer claims and account activity
- Retrieve payment remittances from customer websites, e-mails, EDI etc.
- Various A/R Department tasks
- Light filing
