Job Summary: Responsible for researching and reporting on social media trends, with a specific focus on emerging content trends, audio usage on platforms like TikTok and Instagram, and industry shifts. You will work closely with the Digital Commerce Manager and Senior Influencer Manager to help bring digital campaigns and strategies to life by providing insights, recommendations, and actionable data that fuel decision-making.

Authority:
– Reports to Director, Digital Strategy
– Works closely with Brand Marketing and Creative Services teams, as well as external agencies, to develop relevant and timely content/assets for social channels.
Key Result Areas and Activities
1. Trend Research & Reporting
a. Monitor and analyze social media trends across platforms, with a focus on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and emerging audio trends.
b. Identify and track industry shifts, consumer behaviors, and viral content to provide actionable insights that inform digital strategy for quick implementation.
c. Create and present regular reports on emerging trends, cultural movements, and key social media developments that are relevant to each brand and its digital goals.
2. Support Digital Strategy & Campaign Execution
a. Collaborate with the Digital Commerce Manager and Senior Influencer Manager to develop and execute integrated digital strategies that align with current trends and drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
b. Assist in the planning and optimization of influencer-driven campaigns, ensuring content resonates with social trends and supports both brand objectives and e-commerce goals.
c. Help integrate digital commerce initiatives (e.g., shoppable content, social commerce) into broader campaign strategies, enhancing the customer journey from discovery to purchase.
d. Ensure seamless collaboration across teams (digital, influencer, commerce, and creative) to bring campaigns to life, staying aligned with key project timelines and goals.
3. Analytics and Data Tracking
a. Utilize social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Google Analytics, platform insights) to track social sentiment and performance of campaigns, influencer content, and social trends.
b. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including deep engagement rates, purchase intent, conversion rates, reach, impressions, and sales metrics across social and digital commerce platforms.
4. Administrative
a. Oversee day-to-day project/campaign coordination to ensure deliverables are completed on time and project timelines are met.
b. Provide real-time updates and support in strategy meetings to ensure smooth campaign execution and alignment across teams.
Education & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
– 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media strategy, or eCommerce, with a focus on trend analysis, social media campaigns, and influencer marketing at a brand or agency.
– Experience with social media tools (e.g., Sprout Social) and digital commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify) for campaign tracking, reporting, and integrating shoppable content.
– 1-2 years of cross-functional collaboration with brand, sales, or operations teams to execute digital strategies and optimize performance across channels, with a focus on consumer-facing industries (e.g., entertainment, media, toys)
– Knowledge of COPPA and other relevant regulations is a plus, especially when marketing to children or family-oriented products.
Pay Range:
$24.00 – $28.00 /hour
