Mission: Utilize analytical tools, POS, and Consumer Data to maximize sales performance, interpreting data, generating insights, and providing actionable recommendations to improve our online sales performance, specific to Amazon US. 

Position Requirements  

Education/Experience:

    3+ Years’ experience in sales analysis, specifically in the ecommerce space

    Bachelor’s degree in business administration, analytics, or similar

    Advanced knowledge of Excel, Amazon Vendor Central, and other data platforms

    Experience working across digital sales channels, including e-commerce, SEO strategies and online advertising

    Analyzing complex data and translating into concise business cases and highlighting opportunities

Skills/Knowledge/Ability: 

    Knowledge of Amazon business systems and procedures .

    Experience developing sales reporting and dashboards

    Analytical ability to translate complex data into concise business reports 

    Ability to assist in forecasting processes using historical POS trends

    Self-Motivated individual with the ability to sustain a consistent high level of service across all cross-functional teams. 

       Organized, Detail oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities

Key Relationships:

    Reports to SVP Sales

    Works directly with Sales Team and Demand Planner

    Liaise with Paid Media, Digital Team, Amazon, and 3rd Party Partners

Key Result Areas and Activities

1.    POS Analysis

    Communicate and provide recommendations on emerging POS trends, potential in stock issues, risks to achieving results, and performance against established KPI’s for Amazon.

    Review replenishment order trends and weekly fill rates and determine if they match rate of sale.

    Work with sales and Supply-chain to identify item availability issues. Report on risks to forecast achievement due to constraints including fill rates and inventory availability. 

    Own accurate POS reporting and compare to Amazon’s POS forecast.

    Maintain MGA item level forecast ladders

2.    Reporting

    Analyze MGA POS projections vs. Amazon’s Actual POS.

    Evaluate results and publish weekly POS recap with recommendations

    Analyze business results including catalog, traffic, and advertising data. 

    Evaluate the effectiveness of digital sales campaigns and initiatives

    Develop adhoc reporting as needed to support forecast reviews, operations, and executive needs.

3.    Day to day analysis & monitoring 

    Create reporting processes when needed to improve visibility around new product performance and forward weeks of coverage, risks and opportunities.

    Identify deltas to sales goals through analysis and partner with sales and demand teams to impact trends. 

    Monitor AMZ vendor portal daily/weekly and compare Amazon’s orders to MGA forecast.  Ensure POS forecasts are in line with trend and can support upcoming features: Proactively surface information to cross functional teams prior to events.

    Work closely with Sales and Demand Planning to provide data driven insights that enable the team to understand current trends and make decisions. 

    Provide recommendations for optimizing digital sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, product placement, and SEO.

4.    Relationships

    Partner with the Sales Team to support them in delivering the Annual Sales Plan

    Develop productive working relationship with Amazon Replenishment Team and communicate with them on a weekly basis.

    Participate in weekly Paid Search meetings and work with the team to optimize campaigns and evaluate the impact on sales and customer engagement. 

    Collaborate with media team to assess the impact of digital marketing efforts on sales performance

    Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in digital sales and update the teams on potential opportunities

Salary: 

$110,000.00 – $140,000.00
