Mission:

We’re seeking a driven Sales Professional with 5-7 years of experience in Consumer Products, preferably in pet or plastic-molded products, to take charge of national accounts and large territories, ensuring the successful introduction of our innovative products to major retailers and wholesalers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
    • Drive sales strategies to introduce our innovative pet and outdoor products to major retailers and wholesalers.
    • Develop and execute plans to expand market presence across your territory.
  2. Relationship Building:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, strengthening our market footprint and customer loyalty.
    • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales within your assigned territory.
  3. Territory Management & Sales Goals:
    • Manage a multi-state territory, consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets.
    • Maintain accurate sales records and track progress toward sales objectives.
  4. Reporting & Forecasting:
    • Prepare and present regular forecasts, sales reports, and performance metrics to leadership.
    • Analyze sales trends and propose adjustments to strategies as necessary.
  5. Trade Shows & Networking:
    • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings to generate leads and raise brand awareness.
    • Actively network to develop new business opportunities.
  6. Collaboration & Support:
    • Work closely with marketing and product teams to enhance client satisfaction and ensure product alignment with customer needs.
    • Share market feedback and collaborate on product improvements.
  7. Travel:
    • Frequent travel required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and support sales efforts effectively across the territory.

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of field sales experience, with a preference for experience in pet or plastic-molded products.
  • 3+ years of experience managing national accounts with a proven track record of growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to develop strong customer relationships and drive business growth in a competitive market.
