Graphic Designer
Mission: Develop and design the aesthetics, visual design and layout of MGA Entertainment brand websites and digital content.
Position Requirements
Education/Experience:
– Degree or formal training in graphic design, web development, fine arts, digital animation, or related field.
– 7+ years of experience as a web graphic designer with at least three years experience in a lead role.
– Knowledge of children’s online a plus.
– Experience at a toy/entertainment/media company preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Ability
– Demonstrated ability to conceptualize creative and engaging web design.
– Knowledge of technical design and structure of web projects, including the production of digital images, video, games, and multimedia pieces optimized for the web.
– Adept with the suite of Adobe tools, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
– Experience in HTML5, Flash, ActionScript, CSS, and JavaScript.
– UI and UX design experience.
– Experience or knowledge in responsive web design.
– Strong verbal and written communication skills.
– Adept at problem solving and able to adapt quickly to changing business needs/timelines to make decisions and meet quality standards.
– Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
– Self-starter with high level of initiative, strong work ethic, quick learner.
– Team player.

Key Result Areas and Activities
1. Design
– Develop and design the aesthetics, visual design and layout of MGA Entertainment brand websites and digital content.
– Create design comps, promos, emails and web pages that reflect the brand style guides.
– Assist with game and mobile app design comps and assets.
– Establish and implement current industry best practices and standards for all web design.
– Research and recommend trending web design, layouts and interface to enhance user experience.
– Mentors and assists other graphic designers on team.
2. Administrative
– Update work progress in task tracking software
– Perform other assignments as requested
Salary Range:
$65,000 – $70,000 /yr
