Key Responsibilities Include

  • Work with product and marketing managers to formulate research questions and propose research approaches to satisfy objectives in line with established timelines and using available resources
  • Develop studies using the most appropriate methods for the study:   in-person focus groups, online focus groups, one-on-one interviews, online discussion boards, and other hybrid approaches
  • Manage multiple projects at one time, for different internal teams
  • Own screener and discussion guide development
  • Work with vendors and field services for recruiting and other elements of the project as appropriate
  • Moderate qualitative research on site and online with both parents and kids
  • Analyze and report findings and insights to inform product development, marketing, entertainment development, etc.
  • Communicate both positive and negative results directly with sensitive teams in a productive manner

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years’ experience in qualitative research, including moderating and reporting
  • Experience conducting research with parents, young kids, and teens
  • Ability to relate to kids while keeping them honest
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical/critical thinking skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in very fast-paced environment
  • BA/BS in related field (e.g., psychology, marketing, market research, sociology etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate and work well in a team environment
  • Experience in entertainment research
  • Specialized training in qualitative research
  • Advanced degree in psychology or sociology a plus

Salary Range

$74,953 – $156,000 /yr
