Job Summary: Responsible for the management of cross-functional influencer & creator strategy, creator-focused content creation, and execution of influencer campaigns across brands for the entire MGA Entertainment portfolio.
Position Requirements
Skills/Knowledge/Ability:
– Develop and implement comprehensive influencer marketing strategies that are aligned with each brand’s marketing and business objectives, while working with cross-functional teams.
– Create insightful briefs that guide and focus influencer campaigns + content against primary channel goal, KPIs, and marketing strategy.
– Ability to switch between voices of various brand personalities, brand characters, corporate spokespeople, and consumer targets.
– Monitor and harness industry trends, staying up to date on emerging platforms, shifts in the creator and influencer landscape, competitive activity and channel best practices with the support of a Social Trends Coordinator.
– Understanding of generating content for both kid and adult audiences across platforms.
– Good communication, management, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
– Team player willing to absorb, enhance, and execute brand direction.
– Experience in fast moving corporate culture, managing multiple priorities, and adaptability to change.
– Love of popular and internet culture.
Authority
– Reports to Director, Digital Strategy.
– Works closely with Brand Marketing and Creative Services teams, as well as external agencies, to develop influencer content.
Key Result Areas and Activities
1. Influencer/Creator Strategy
– Build insight-led, audience driven, influencer/creator strategy and tactical content plans.
– Work with paid media team to support amplification.
2. Content Creation Management
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on asset ideation and development for creator-led content.
– Stay informed on platform specs, ad types, and innovation.
– Leveraging partnerships, influencers, and community management partners to further digital and social content.
3. Thought Leadership and Advocacy
– Provide trends feedback to help inform the product cycle and marketing direction.
– Identify and educate teams on emerging trends and tactics within the influencer and creative space/industry.
4. Analytics
– Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure strategy is effective and working.
– Develop and present ongoing reporting cadence of campaigns and initiatives.
– Work closely with legal counterparts to ensure adherence to rules and guidelines around influencer marketing.
5. Day to Day Execution
– Partner with our Synergy team to process contracts, invoices and billing.
– Manage Influencer budgets in conjunction with Brand and Synergy teams.
– Help facilitate and directly liaise with influencers, creators, and talent when necessary.
Education & Experience
– Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social media, marketing, or communications.
– 6+ years of experiences in consumer marketing, 4+ years experience in influencer marketing.
– Similar management position at toy/entertainment/media company preferred.
– Understanding of KARU and COPPA a plus.
Salary:
$95,000.00 – $125,000.00 /year
