Mission:  Responsible for the management of social media strategy, content creation,  publishing, moderation, and updating of public-facing social handles across established and emerging platforms for new and emerging brands.

Position Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social media, marketing, or communications
  • 4+ years of paid and organic social media channel strategy and programming
  • Experience developing a social media strategy to launch newly developed products and/or brands
  • Similar management position at toy/entertainment/media company preferred
  • Understanding of COPPA a plus


  • Narrative and audience driven understanding of social media content
  • Best practice knowledge of social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, TikTok, and emerging platforms
  • Enthusiastic self-starter who is an expert copywriter 
  • Ability to switch between voices of various brand personalities, brand characters, corporate spokesperson, and consumer targets
  • Understanding of writing and generating content for both kid and adult audiences
  • Good communication, management, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
  • Team player willing to absorb, enhance, and execute brand direction
  • Love of popular and internet culture


  • Reports to Sr Manager of Social Media Strategy and Content 
  • Works closely with portfolio brands, creative, agencies, and marketing teams to develop content 

Key Result Areas and Activities

Social Media Strategy

  • Execute insight-led, audience driven, social media strategy and tactical content plans
  • Work with paid media team to support social content
  • Develop a comprehensive strategy to create and grow a community around new launched product

Content Creation Management

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on asset ideation and development 
  • Stay informed on platform specs, ad types and innovation
  • Leveraging partnerships and influencers to further social content


  • Oversee day to day management of marketing calendar activations across all social channels
  • Ensure legal guidance's are executed

Community Management 

  • Development of voice and social tone of brand socially
  • Develop communications, engagement strategy and content programming for owned channel in addition to off channel engagement  


  • Define qualitative and quantitative measurement and goals
  • Build reporting and processes to integrate analytical tools and KPI dashboard in channel management
  • Work closely with legal counterparts to ensure adherence to rules and guidelines around social media marketing


Thought Leadership and Advocacy

  • Discover emerging social trends and/or platforms, react quickly to find new success
  • Educate teams on emerging social media platforms
