Ecommerce Marketing Manager EMEA
The Ecommerce Marketing Manager will contribute to MGA retail ecommerce success by providing direction and leadership for the marketing & product operations across MGA retailer websites. Digital excellence is critical to the region growth plan and is responsible for driving the development and execution of online demand generation, customer experience and engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in the toy or entertainment category and/or experience with contemporary consumer facing brands. Additionally, they will possess strong project management, communication and analytical skills, as well as experience working for a data-driven, multi-channel brands across retail e-commerce websites.
You will push the boundaries by testing and optimizing campaigns and digital activation across multiple European locales to deliver business goals.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple teams (Brand Managers, Planning, Sales and agency teams) to drive ecomm channel growth for EMEA locales
- Create a Best-in-Class Customer experience all the way through the ecomm purchase journey
- Responsible for working with retail marketing agencies/ internal teams on Paid Search, Display, Prospecting, Retargeting, Email, & Affiliate campaigns
- Institute and tracks metrics, KPIs, and other valuations of performance for each campaign and provide direction to cross function partners to ensure success
- Partner with brand teams to ensure creative vision for MGA brands are cohesive across all channels
- Enhance partnerships with 3rd party agencies to improve performance and customer experience
- Responsible for reporting performance to senior management and providing insights on way to drive future performance
- Manage Amazon platform across EMEA on a day-to-day basis, and develop the vision for the channel
- Digital merchandising updates and brand store management across core EMEA retail inc. Amazon, Bol and Smyths
- Collaborate with tech and product teams to drive efficiencies and scale across EMEA territories, launching new product features and ensuring local requirements and customer needs are met
- Responsible for ensuring projects and tasks are completed on time.
Amazon Site Marketing
Brand Celebration Stores
- Lead the relationship with our external agencies to execute the global direction of brand stores
- Work with the Amazon EU Sales Lead to develop annual brand store refresh calendar
- Work with local sales teams to customize to local launch dates and inventory position
Product Detail Pages
- Lead the relationship with the translation and item creation partner agencies
- Ensure PDPs are optimized through Titles & bullets, images, video, A+ Content, and hidden key words
Toys & Games Marketing
- Establish by country budget with EMEA Consumer Marketing VP & Amazon EU Sales lead based on forecast and vendor terms agreements
- Develop recommendation of T&G marketing initiatives
- Work with brand teams to approve assets and messages
- Work with POC at Amazon to execute agreed to placements
Retail Media
- Work with VP Consumer Marketing, US Media Teams and Amazon EU Sales Director as required to establish annual by brand by country budget to support Search and Display
- EMEA Budget management inc. PO’s and spend tracking
- Lead relationship with local Agency Partner to drive strategy, budget, and priorities
- Report back to key stake holders on spend, established targets, and opportunities for optimizations
- Liaise with POC at Amazon Advertising to learn about new initiatives, Betas, and other tactics for MGA consideration
Ideal Experience & Leadership:
- Experience leading retail ecommerce site initiatives with a focus on both Acquisition and Retention of customers
- Results oriented, while still being able to balance long term health and growth of brands
- Strong Analytics background, capable of diving into data but also create concise, actionable recommendations
- Familiarity with Amazon Platform and experience with using 3rd Party development agencies to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Experience with 3rd party applications to optimize performance.
