Position Overview: 

The Marketing Coordinator supports the strategic planning, development, and execution of cross-divisional Brand strategies to drive sales, consumer engagement, market share growth, and profitability. This role functions as a center of excellence, working closely with internal stakeholders (i.e., Brand Management, Entertainment, Digital Marketing, PR, Product Development, Sales, Licensing, International) and agency partners to deliver against revenue goals and marketing activations to drive consumer demand. This role reports to the Sr. Director of Brand Marketing & Planning.

Key Result Areas 

1. Brand Marketing Coordination (85%)

• Support Boys Marketing team in all aspects including: scheduling, tracking, reporting & recapping, communication with sales and cross functional teams.

•  Manage PIP process as well as asset creation for Boys Marketing Team (sales sheets, price list, toolkits, visual line lists, etc.).

•  Manages the shipping of samples for meetings and other.

• Assist Marketing team in proofing and organizing creative and packaging assets (Smartsheet).

• Support the Marketing team with Sales Meetings and key account meetings (deliverables).

• Assist with marketing presentations via Powerpoint (template creation/management, slide creation, and clean up/formatting).

• Managing and scheduling account calls/meetings for Marketing team as well taking notes and sending recaps/follow-ups.

• Be the liaison for the Marketing team in working with cross-functional teams.

• Provide competitive NPD and POS analysis when requested.

• Lead the product reviews reports by providing insight/consumer analysis to Sr. Director.

• Create NPD reports per the requests of the Team.

• Brand asset lead – sales materials, media, etc. 2. Administrative (15%)

• Provide day-to-day administrative support, including managing meetings, requests, and product information.

• Create PO requests for projects and support the marketing team during brainstorming sessions by gathering necessary materials. Position Requirements:

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Business Econ, Marketing, Communication, etc)

– 2 years of brand management, retail buying or marketing agency experience

– Foundational knowledge of US retail market

– Kids and/or Family marketing, Toy experience or quick turn fashion experience strongly preferred

Skills/Knowledge/Ability:

• 1-2 years of experience, preferably in business or marketing.

• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Self-starter, collaborative, and team-spirited with a willingness to assist others in the department and across the broader MGA Entertainment organization.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and a focus on creating more efficient and cost-effective work processes or solutions.

• Initiative to overcome hurdles/obstacles that might arise in moving tasks/projects forward.

 Authority:

• Reports to the Sr. Director of Marketing Strategy & Planning. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Pay Range: 

$25.00 – $30.00 /hr
