Position Summary: The VP, Americas Sales & Operations Planning drives the Demand and Point of Sale Planning process and accountability for all activities related to regional demand and supply executions. The VP is responsible for executing reliable forecast in short term horizon (<6 months forecast) and long-term horizon (2-to-3-year forecast). This position establishes standards and practices for a model supply chain, including developing policies, procedures, and techniques that are consistent with the strategic company direction and sound principles of supply chain management. Optimize companies working capital, enabling bottom line improvements to operating margin.

Position Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain or demand or supply planning leadership at a CPG or Toy manufacturer
- Bachelor's Degree required and MBA/MS preferred.
- Drive implementation of suitable and flexible SIOP process for the region
- Hands on strategic thinker with demonstrated ability to envision the future state of the business and synthetize facts and insights into concrete, actionable strategies, and plans.
- Vision and creative thinking to build new supply and demand optimization capabilities in-house for global operations.
- Proven track record as an organized and trusted thought partner with the ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and influencing others.
- Ability to build and develop teams, set high standards, and lead others to action.
- Excellent time management, organizational, and verbal/written communication
- Strong analytics skills. Attention to detail, fact-based, self-motivated, and ability to work under pressure.
- Entrepreneurial, able to build processes and engage stakeholders with little direction.
- Enjoys problem solving with multi-functional stakeholders. Likes working in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Able and willing to drive tactical execution while driving systematic process implementations and improvements is a must.
- Knowledge of D365 and SAP is strongly preferred.

Key Results Areas and Activities:
- Manage the forecasting and (eventually S&OP) cycle, executing weekly, monthly planning activities methodically.
- Drive consumption model out put aligned with Point of Sales
- Drive Continuous improvements initiatives; Enhance Sales & Operation (S&OP) process development by communicating performance standards, developing joint improvement initiatives, and actively soliciting formal feedback; Create business process flow diagrams to identify opportunities to optimize planning. Works on implementation with various stakeholders, business owners
- Lead S&OP monthly performance updates with Senior Management
- Establish the process for demand planners to develop sales forecasts for each season through collaboration with sales.
- Work with cross-functional teams on production planning forecast to ensure effective and disciplined planning of raw materials to meet S&OP requirements.
- Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Sales and Supply Chain to create and manage S&OP process; aligned with the company’s overall objectives and timelines.
- Create and publish metrics to evaluate overall plan/process effectiveness; Accurately produce regular metrics reports on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis that drive positive results, get to root cause and roll up to annual company goals (manufacturing adherence to plan, sales forecast, inventory turns).
- Work to seek improvements to process, technique, and execution, as well as adoption of improved systems and or tools. Able to effectively implement and execute Logility system.
- Work collaboratively and effectively with various internal operating units spread across different geographies.
- Leads Demand Planning and Supply Planning teams to ensure on-time delivery while driving speed to market and inventory turn objectives.
- Own and proactively manage global inventory to optimize on a year-over-year basis aligned to company inventory budget and turn goals.
- Drive efforts to build/improve next-generation supply and demand optimization tools.
Salary Range:
$182,026.75 – $245,472.50 / year
