The Branded TikTok Expert is responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of branded TikToks that will increase consumer connection and ultimately drive toy sales.

MGA Entertainment is looking for two Branded TikTok Experts to produce videos for our expanding TikTok audiences. We are looking for amazing content creators that can quickly create compelling, relevant content across TikTok for our toys

  • You’ll be responsible for aggressively expanding our TikTok presence in innovative, creative ways.
  • You will shape our TikTok branded voice.
  • You will be up to date on all the TikTok and cultural trends and be able to react quickly and creatively.
  • You will be vital to the team and work directly with the social media managers to help grow our TikTok community.
  • These roles are for ambitious and creative people who love to watch the numbers grow.  

Key Result Areas

Day to day you will be making TikTok friendly short-form videos, using your expert knowledge of what’s trending combined with what’s right for the Brand. 

You’ll be responsible for propelling the TikTok account towards major milestones – like account followers and individual video views. The Branded TikTok Expert will be responsible for overseeing content conception, content development/creation and daily operations for the TikTok channel. 

  • Understand the Brand and set a vision for how it comes to life on TikTok
    • Determine how to create and grow brand awareness and relevance across social media with a focus on TikTok
    • Shape the Brand’s TikTok tone of voice to influence post copy exhibiting excellent judgment to foster and build a strong, positive brand presence.
    • Continuously understand and analyze the needs of the Brand, and create how those needs come to life on TikTok
    • Coordinate and execute supporting TikToks for key Brand and Product moments
  • Create (and sometimes star in) on-trend TikTok videos that will be a huge hit with key consumers
    • Pitch video ideas based on current TikTok trends that are right for the Brand
    • Create ~10-15TikTok videos each week that are on-brand, on strategy and delivered on time
    • Track and identify potential trends and ideas that align with the Brand, using those learnings to create original real-time content
    • Stay on top of social media trends, bring in new ideas and keep the Brand fresh 
    • Commission additional TikTok videos with appropriate influencers and creators
  • Manage the Brand’s TikTok channels
    • Including content, creative briefing, posting and publishing, reporting, optimization, and innovation.
  • Keep track of growth numbers 
    • Provide monthly performance and/or campaign performance on key metrics on video content

Preferred Qualifications

Do you love making compelling TikToks, creating cool content, sharing on social? If so, we want to meet you!

We’re looking for a Branded TikTok content creator who can make our TikToks impactful. You need an innate understanding of the audience: 18–34-year-olds who are well-versed in online culture and are spending big chunks of their day on browsing TikTok. It will be your job to stop them from swiping up straight away. 

You must be an outgoing TikTok connoisseur who loves creating engaging videos and who has grown a Brand’s account. You will help us reach our target audience by delivering relevant and relatable TikTok content about our Brands. 

Above all, you must have a proven track record of identifying and leveraging what makes TikTok, well, tick: hot trends, hashtags, music usage, functionalities, transitions, best practices, platform updates, etc.

  • Simply obsessed with TikTok – and able to name a few of the biggest TikTok trends on any given day
  • Creative and energetic – you’ll need a constant stream of ideas, and be able to come up with new ways to engage the audience on-the-spot
  • A self-starter – you’ll be responsible for the growth of TikTok on a Brand 
  • Good under pressure – new ideas are constant and quick turnarounds are needed
  • Driven – you understand the shift TikTok, the opportunity it presents for the media, and want to be at the forefront of that change

Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of social media management and content production/editing experience
  • 2+ years in social media at a brand or television show/network.
  • 1+ years of experience creating content for TikTok.
  • Ability to film, edit, and create TikTok content. Proficiency in creating lo-fi content using native iPhone/Android tools, apps, and TikTok editing suite.
  • Experience posting, and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of internet culture and social media platform best practices, including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
  • Comfort in front of and behind the camera while filming social media content
  • A love of pop culture and viral trends on TikTok
  • Team player, collaborator and innovation agent
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, within a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • BA/BS from an accredited University
