The Retail Media Specialist role is to leverage paid media to create growth for our amazing brands and products at key retailers (both brick and mortar and online.)

 Our Digital Marketing and Media team is responsible for developing and delivering compelling paid media plans that excite kids and drive consumer demand for our products.

 The right candidate will support the retail team in setting and executing media strategy that will reach and engage consumers with compelling brand messages at key retailers. 

  • The individual will support the Director, US Retail Media and Ecommerce with a focus on managing media plan inputs and approvals, retailer site ratings and reviews, and linking retail activity to media activity.

 We are looking for a team member that can execute with a genuine passion for our products. This role is pivotal in leading day to day operations, planning and working in close partnership with our retail partners. This person will focus on generating paid media strategies and tactics the day-to-day realization of that vision across retailer platforms.


This role reports to the Director, US Retail Media and Ecommerce

Key Result Areas and Activities

  • Internal advocate
    1. Be the internal champion for driving profitable media campaigns that drive our brand sales at key US retail partners of Amazon, Walmart and Target or Alternative Channels.
  • Agency management
    1. Partner with our external media agency to execute media plans that effectively deliver the maximum ROAS.
    2. Partner with Ratings and Reviews agency to ensure retailer site ratings and reviews are up to date for all core and new products
  • Conduit between Brand, Retail and Paid Media teams
    1. Collaborate with brand team and retail partners to check that creative executions showcase the brand’s authentic point of difference to shoppers.
    2. Work with sales team and media team to communicate calendars of retail activity so it is linked to paid media activity.
  • Stretch Goal
    1. Work to become a subject matter expert for brand teams, sales and customer marketing.

Position Requirements


  • Digitally native, media savvy.
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to integrate digital programs to support marketing goals and programs.
  • Able to perform within an integrated team environment. 
  • Strong project management skills for managing internal and external resources, setting and managing deadlines, and fielding and prioritizing internal and external inquiries.
  • Exceptional initiative & follow-through skills. 
  • Must be a flexible and creative self-starter who is able to work within an energetic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Agile project manager.
  • Accountable marketer.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing or similar field or equivalent work experience
  • 3-5 years of experience 
  • Track record of media execution including a variety of marketing vehicles (digital media, total video, social media, consumer marketing, channel marketing, etc.)
  • Retail Media experience is highly valued as is Toy industry experience
  • Strongly encouraged: Kids and/or Family marketing or quick turn fashion 
  • Additional areas of valuable expertise: CPG, Entertainment, Gaming
  • Helpful: Diversified experience across big and small companies, start-up entrepreneurial strongly preferred
